Bene-Bac Plus for Pets

Bene-Bac Plus is a palatable, concentrated source of live, naturally occurring probiotics and beneficial bacteria found in the intestinal tracts of healthy animals. Formulated with added FOS (fructooligosaccharides), this supplement supports digestive health during times of stress or digestive upset. Ideal for domestic, exotic, and wildlife mammals, Bene-Bac Plus is especially beneficial during changes in diet, environment, or medical treatment.

Use Bene-Bac Plus to help maintain healthy digestion during:

  • Antibiotic therapy
  • Post-surgery recovery
  • Birth or weaning
  • Deworming treatments
  • Transportation and travel
  • Dietary or environmental changes

Available Forms:

  • Gel for Newborns: 1/4 to 1/2 g at birth, then 1/2 g on days 3, 5, 7, and at weaning. For hand-fed orphans, increase to 1/2 to 1 g on days 7 and 14 and at the introduction of solid food. Administer 1 g when intestinal upset or loss of appetite occurs.
  • Gel for Post-Weaning/Older Pets: 1 g per 10 lb of body weight (up to 50 lb), given twice, 3 days apart. Place directly in mouth or mix with food.
  • Powder (All Ages): Use on days 1, 3, 5, and 7, then once weekly until weaned. Maintenance: Use recommended daily dosage once per week. Top-dress onto moistened or dry food.

Powder Dosage by Weight:

  • Less than 1/2 lb: 1/4 level teaspoon
  • 1/2 ?C 1 lb: 1/2 level teaspoon
  • 1 ?C 5 lb: 1 level teaspoon
  • 5 ?C 20 lb: 2 level teaspoons
  • Over 20 lb: 3 level teaspoons

Important Usage Notes:

Discard uneaten food after 8 hours and thoroughly wash food dishes after feeding. Always consult a veterinarian when administering supplements to animals recovering from illness or undergoing medical treatments.
